Car hire: If you’re flying, then we’d suggest hiring a car as public transport is limited. We’ve used www.arguscarhire.com in the past.
Taking the ferry: If you’re travelling from England and you’d prefer to bring your own car, you can sail over with multiple crossings available on Stena Line Ferries and Irish ferries. You can dock at Rosslare or Dublin (both about a 4 hour drive to Kenmare - with some lovely views along the way!).
Parking: There is ample free parking on site at Sheen Falls Lodge.
Taxis: If you’re looking to book a taxi, we’ve listed some local providers below and suggest you book ahead of time. Remember Uber does not exist in Ireland.

Sheen Falls Lodge
The easiest option for our guests is to stay on site at Sheen Falls, in its beautiful surroundings. We’ve provisionally reserved a block of rooms at a preferential rate of €350 (approx £295) per night B&B (for a classic room). This rate is available across 2 nights, and if you wish to stay longer you will pay the best available rate at the time of booking. Please email reservations@sheenfallslodge.ie or call +353646641600 to book and provide your card details (although you won’t pay until departure). Please reference the wedding when making your reservation.
